Tattoo Tuesday!

Well it's been quite the long weekend as well as my day off today. 

Busy getting Sushi settled in to her new environment with her new roommate, Sam. Numerous trips to the condo, helping the kid organize and pack her stuff to bring back here.  In between of course the usual cleaning, laundry, etc.  The in-laws are arriving next week before their trip to Portland and Vancouver so we want to get the kid all settled in before they arrive.  I think I'll need to up my vitamin intake and hubby's sick during all this.

Haven't had a chance to visit mom or my beautiful granddaughter with everything that's been going on.  Oh and don't forget I'm back at work tomorrow as well.  I'm getting weary just thinking about it...

Today I finally got up the nerve to get my tattoo that I've been wanting for a very long time.  The kid went with me and I have to be honest, I was scared to death.  I was using a breathing technique to relax and try to calm the anxiety I was feeling.  Well all the anxiety was for nothing because it was a piece of cake.  Now I'm not going to lie, it was uncomfortable but not painful.  I was fine and they even put U2 videos on to watch as a distraction.

The tattoo artist's name was "Cory" and understanding how nervous I was explained everything beforehand and was as gentle as he possibly could be.  My daughter was impressed and proud that I actually had the nerve to go through with it.  I know have a beautiful green shamrock adorning my left leg.  It signifies my pride for my Irish blood.  I'll post pics later...

I highly recommend "Black Irish Tattoo" on Wolfedale Road in Mississauga.  They are open Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm.  Well worth the trip.  I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Well I have to go for now but before I do, those deals are still out there sot ake advantage before they're gone.  Ridiculous deals on shoes, summer apparel and outdoor decor.
